You have to love that huge front splitter.
Here are some of the photos from the Poker Run. We traveled from Porterville, to Exeter, to Tulare, to Terra Bella, and finally to the Eagle Mountain Casino just East of Porterville. We all had a great time, and successfully got lost many, many times.
I guess I’ve been putting this off for a while, but it seems like the final nail in Old Blue’s coffin. Yes, I have sold Old Blue for another car. Old blue is gone, but most certainly not forgotten. I’ve decided to keep all of the older posts on the blog in memory of a truly great car.
The new car is a 2010 Scion tC coupe with a 5 speed manual transmission, and 2.4 liter four cylinder engine. So far, I’ve put on 760 miles of pure fun. The switch to a stick shift is proving to be a great decision. I love shifting gears—what else can I say. The only drawback is that the tC doesn’t get the kind of fuel economy that Old Blue did: http://bit.ly/cDWZSI (Old Blue averaged about 32 MPG). Anyway, I’ll post a few new pics shortly. Thanks for reading.
